Hey I’m Hannah! I’m so glad you’re here. To kick off my new website launch and start of my very own blog, I thought I’d write a little bit about myself.
I grew up in Shelocta, PA on a beautiful 60 acres with my parents and younger sister with my grandparents right across the road. I’ve been so blessed to have spent so much time with both sets of grandparents growing up. They’re very different and I love that!
My sister and I would help my dad’s parents with chores in the barn while dancing to country music of course! We’d stand on my grandpa’s feet and he’d dance us around the barn. We also fed the many, many cats and two dogs and learned proper table etiquette.
With my mom’s parents we learned how to make homemade tortillas and authentic tacos as my grandma is Hispanic. I wouldn’t trade any of them for the world!
If you know me, you know I am obsessed with the adrenaline rush of rollercoasters! My boyfriend and I have a map of the United States with the top 50 amusement parks and we hope to get to each one someday. Fun fact: Kennywood is on the list.
I love to read and I love the beach so much I wouldn’t mind living there some day. Chai teas are my go to drink and chocolate is my weakness. My favorite color is pink (if you couldn’t tell). My office supplies at work: pink, my bedroom: pink, colors for my business: pink.
Country music is my favorite as it takes me back to my roots (Kenny Chesney was really onto something with “I Go Back”) and reminds me of wonderful memories. I love where I’m at in life, but I do miss school. Marching band and playing flute were such a huge part of my life in high school. I don’t miss homework, but the organizations I was a part of in college hold a very special place in my heart and always will.
I graduated from IUP with a bachelor’s degree in Art, focusing on Graphic Design, and a minor in Communications Media. I currently work full-time for a company local to Indiana, Pa as a Graphic Designer, Social Media Manager, and Blogger.
Most that know me know I am typically quiet and a bit shy. Words have never come naturally to me while speaking, but I love writing (I have my Grammy Wood to thank for that) and I thought this would be a great outlet for it. God has worked so much in my life and I’m excited to share about art, life, and my faith!
